London Terrorist Attack

Time: 3:55pm
Mood: Upset
Song of the moment: ... I'm drawing a blank...

I woke up this morning and everything was alright. I usually go online, hit up thestar.com to see what's going on in the world but this morning I didn't. When I got to school, people started to ask me if I heard what happend in London. I smiled and said "Well yeah they got the Olympics! duh!" But my smile was quickly wiped of my face upon hearing the news that London was the center on yet another terrorist attack.

4 bombs. 4 bombs went off during the morning rush to work. 4 bombs. 3 in The Tube, 1 on a bus, that just tore it apart.

I was absolutely horrified. In fact, I still am. Am I scared? I admit, a little. But that's exactly the way terrorist want me to feel... terrorized in my own environment, an environment that up until the attacks on 9-11 have made me feel safe and secure. I don't know what I would do if Toronto was ever bombed. But I refuse to feel scared.. I refuse to live my life in terror.

My prayers go out to the Londoners that were affected by this selfless act.

I hope you don't have any friends affected by this. Terrorist probably think Canada is just another small state. Hamliton certainly has nothing to fear ;).

The same thing happened to me, kind've. I was asked about London and I responsed about the Olympics.
