One of my biggest pet peeves that I tend to keep to myself because I don't want to look like a complete "I want attention" drama queen is when ppl inturrupt me when I'm telling a story. I find this happens to me A LOT and when I mean a lot I mean almost once a day. I'm not sure if it's b/c I am a horrible story teller... or ppl are not that interested but it really ticks me off sometimes. It's almost the same feeling when you feel like someone is walking all over you, treating you like a doormat. Right away you feel insignificant. I hate that feeling. Is it just me or does this happen to everyone? I understand ppl can get sidetracked but that's a poor excuse for being rude. I'm not the type of person to re-inturrupt a person and say "hello! I'm in the middle of a story here!" like some ppl would do. That's just not me. So I guess I will continue to battle this pet peeve of mines in silence. Holy shit I'm gonna snap one day aren't I?
So I paid off my bank loan this week! I would say "Hooray!" but not so fast. I actually took the money my parents gave me to pay forpart of my car (my "trust fund" money.. the last of it...eeks!) to pay off my loan. I still have enough to cover another year and a bit on the car. I figured.. I have the money sitting in my account... I am paying about $20/month in interest (since I'm a student they only made me pay the interest amont on my loan) ... and I have to pay it back eventually anyway so I might as well fork over the money now! haha! It's actually good b/c I heard the interest rates were going up. Nuts!! Anyway, I've decided to cancel my current chequing account and open one up at another bank instead. My current bank raised it's minimum "no service charge" balance to $1500 .. f**k that! I'm switchin! The other bank has a minimum balance of $1000 + they're giving away free ipod shuffles if you switch! Bonus! haha!
My thesis is going alright.. I've got 4 chapters ready for submission... 2 more to write (but they're easy peasy!) and 1 bitch-ass chapter to fix up. It's an absolute mess! I have a feeling I'm gonna have to re-write most of that little bugger. Agh! I know it's just one more chapter to deal w/ but it's sooooo hard! I'm getting so lazy about it. I can see the finish line but I'm crawling to get there.....
Geez I'm itching to start the new Harry Potter book! I got it delivered to my house on Saturday. No.. I wasn't one of those freaks that lined up 12AM @ Chapters DRESSED like one of the characters to get a copy of the book... although I was at a store at 12AM when the brought out the book... but I just wanted to see the cover :D

Great you paid off your loan! One less thing to worry about! You can live the poor life like me! But you'll just be out of it quicker.
Oh yeah, did you go TD? You should use PC! who needs a min balance! The interest in the account is so much better anyways. You have unlimited ATM and interac then!
You just just find a chance to interupt them back with your story again.. of course it will seem like you really want to finish your story... I haven't heard you tell a story in a while so maybe you are pretty bad... I'll let my kids decide, record one of your stories.
Yeah I do have a PC account too... but I need a bank that's not so internet based :)

I hate being interrupted D:< Lately I've been really snarky about it.
I've been w/ TD for a very long time...can't say they're the greatest (horrible service fees!)...it was better before they merged with Canada Trust. But hey, free Ipod!
Congrats on the thesis work and paying off your loans. Don't worry, you'll find a way to make up for the car fundage ;)
