Today I went to my very first bridal shower :D It was for Elizabeth, who's getting married at the end of August. It's so strange because Elizabeth and I actually went to the same highschool.. in fact I think my mom taught her chinese school a LONG time ago... I'm not sure.. but I remember her face from way back. Anyway, she was two years ahead of me so I never socalized with her in highschool. We became friends after I met her at a roller hockey game.. Jimmy and her fiance Hubert played on the same team. We were the girlfriends that sat on the side-lines cheering them on and yelling at the opposing team (I'm pretty bad at those games actually... I've gotten into a few yelling matches w/ the players on the other team! haha I'm fiesty! No one touches my man.. NO ONE! haha). It was a surprise bridal shower @ Hubert's apartment downtown. It was awesome b/c she really had no clue we were throwing her a party.. so it was a genuine surprise! hah! I had a lot of fun! I didn't really know anyone (except for one of Elizabeth's twin sisters.. ). We played fun games all afternoon... like the ever-popular "Make a wedding dress out of toilet paper". hehe I can't wait for mines (if I have one... hehe)
Every weekend I have the most wonderful experience that I just want to blog about.. just for the fun of it. Every weekend, either I stay over @ Jimmy's or he stays over at mines. Actually, it's been more my house b/c I got a bigger bed (I tend to be a bed hog according to Jimmy... hey man! I need the room to curl my long legs! haha). Every Saturday and Sunday morning I wake up and immediately I feel like I just woke up alone, because that's just what I'm used to. But then I look over and I see Jimmy... and I just feel so complete. It's wonderful! Waking up to the one you love!
I can't wait to do that every day :D

When my friend Ken and Elaine had their bridal shower one of the girls turned into this toliet paper ninja robot bride. It was really awesome I have a few pictures to haunt her. I wonder what will happen at yours?
